In 1999, Card Data Service was formed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as an ISO of

First Data. Card Data Service served merchants by providing processing services in

PA and NY.

In 2000, Card Data Services began to see growth in ATM market and registered as an

ISO of Columbus Data.

In 2009, Card Data Service announced its intention to spin off ATM department into

an independent company, Commercial Data Solution to serve merchants more

efficiently. By 2004, Card Data and Commercial Data was providing merchant services

not only in the East Coast., but also in CA, IL, OR, AZ, CO. This set the stage for

Commercial Data Solution to expand a leading global provider of electronic

commerce and payment solutions to businesses and consumers all over the States.

From 2005, a period of expansion occurred as more Agent offices became partner

and saw potential growth in POS computers.

In 2013, First Data proposed First POS a new era in processing industry. Ignite

Payments and Clover became affiliates.

In 2017, First Data acquired CardConnect and became platform affiliates of First POS

In 2019 First POS expanded to online payments and capital market.

In 2023, First POS expended its office and sale network to FL,NJ,NY,MD,VA,TX,

First POS was awarded multiple times due to its growth in First Data/Fiserv. First POS

now has 11 offices and 68 agents & employees to service merchants.
